This is a two-part course delivered in one day.
The first part ‘Revision and Concepts’ reinforces your understanding of basic neurology from the cellular to the systemic level. We introduce key principles and features to you which cover normal function through to common problems. There is an element of examining some relationships between neurological and other ‘systems’.
In the second part ‘Neurology in Practice’ we apply the concepts from Part 1 in a clinical setting, covering aspects of case-history taking, practical examination and therapeutic approaches.
There are practical aspects to the course throughout, with some (hopefully) provocative and memorable ways to help you reinforce your understanding.
This workshop has been designed for practicing manual therapists who want to broaden their understanding of the nervous system and its relevance to their practice and patients.
It will provide theoretical insights and practical manipulative, techniques in dealing with neurological conditions
