Presenter Profile:

As a deep tissue massage practitioner Tanya has worked with a wide variety of clients, both individually and as part of National Sports Medicine teams. She has provided massage treatments, First Aid/Injury cover, training courses, and workshops for numerous organisations. Through her clinic, she now provides massage for local sports individuals, as well as treatments for non-sporting persons and NHS patients.

Tanya has trained with some of the world’s foremost authorities in massage therapy, and through her training courses she successfully passes on her skills to many aspiring therapists. Many of her students have successfully practised massage therapy right through to elite level.

Ever thought about a career in massage?

Ever considered what it takes to provide this ‘hands-on’ therapy?

Interested in adding techniques to your Personal Training or Coaching role?

Or just want to learn a skill to help friends and relatives?

This short two-day workshop is designed to provide you with an insight into the role, training, and techniques required to enter this caring profession. It will also provide you with some basic massage skills.

The Introductory weekend is an entry-level requirement for some of our other courses such as the BTEC Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage. If you wish to enrol on other professional training courses, this workshop will provide you with an opportunity to gain the basic skills that are a prerequisite for many schools. The workshop is open to anyone even if all you require is an add-on talent for recreational use with family and friends.
